By and large, it was decent place for sightseeing in Basingstoke, had much fun and met friendly professional and competent staff throughout to the management. The hotel had a convenient location to the town centre along a pleasant road with pavement which worked well for us.

Room very good we had booked another room but got a shower for the disabled, of course very big. Room very quiet. Gym absolutely great. Very nice bar and friendly service. Breakfast in good quality, 10 min to the city center. We were here for the Millestone Museum which is unfortunately not accessible on foot but is a must
It is annoying when music is playing everywhere in the background. The village itself is almost dead due to the shopping center

Quiet location not far from city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money on our Saturday night stay and breakfast was varied and freshly cooked. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good parking and close proximity to town. A big room which is a little dated in style.
Expensive bar and restaurant, yes extortionate.

The bedrooms were an excellent size, the bed was large and comfortable, bathroom large enough and everywhere was clean.Great that there was a desk and 2 comfortable chairs and plenty of tea and coffee.Only downside we bought a drink at the bar and it was very expensive, we think this is where you make your money, but it made us go elsewhere rather than stay in the hotel to socialise also the breakfast was incredibly expensive, we went to the Harvester down the road and had a full English and tea/coffee for £4 as opposed to £15 in the hotel.Exorbitant!Apart from that a very good stay.
